Everyone who knows me well knows that I am a "people person". I enjoy meeting new people, and for as long as I've been able to speak, I've never been afraid to initiate conversation. Being a Pittsburg State University Student Ambassador has given me the chance to utilize my communication skills while promoting the University to potential new students. My experience with this association has given me the ability and confidence to adapt to different audiences and be able to answer any question promptly and professionally. Most importantly, being a Student Ambassador has taught me that to enjoy something, I must be passionate about what I'm selling or promoting. In this case, I've been able to "sell" the university to hundreds of students. It has been so enjoyable because I love Pittsburg State. This has helped me open my eyes for the future, knowing that in any career, I must be passionate about what I'm doing to excel.
